IDF Spokesperson:
Following the IDF strike in Beirut and after a situational assessment, the IDF is preparing for possible fire toward the State of Israel in the coming hours.
The IDF has reinforced its defensive components and is in a state of readiness and alert for a variety of defensive and offensive scenarios. The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, and IDF commanders are currently conducting assessments and closely monitoring developments.
The public is urged to remain vigilant, act responsibly, and follow the Home Front Command’s instructions as they are updated from time to time.
