"The suspicion against him stems from a claim by a head of a religious council, according to which he forbade him to fire his employee because he is affiliated with Shas.
The truth is that Mr. Avidan demanded that the head of the religious council hold a proper hearing for the employee and not dismiss him unlawfully. The hearing was canceled, and the employee was reinstated — until later being dismissed following a hearing that was held as required."
