IDF Spokesperson:
*The IDF struck to remove an immediate threat to forces operating in the forward defensive area in southern Lebanon*
A short while ago, the Israeli Air Force intercepted several rockets launched by the Hezbollah terrorist organization toward the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon.
According to policy, no alerts were activated.
In addition, in several separate incidents earlier today (Monday), the Hezbollah terrorist organization fired an anti-tank missile and several mortar shells toward IDF forces operating in the southern Lebanon area, with no casualties reported.
Furthermore, in four separate incidents throughout the day, IDF forces identified several terrorists traveling in vehicles who were approaching the forces in a way that posed an immediate threat to them.
Immediately after identification, the Air Force, guided by the ground forces, carried out precise strikes against all the threats.
The IDF will continue to act to remove immediate threats.
