IDF Spokesperson:
This week, IDF forces arrested the three Palestinian police officers who were involved in setting up a roadblock in Area C near Beitunia, detaining and assaulting an Israeli civilian, exceeding their authority to operate in these areas.
The officers are being questioned by security forces.
The security establishment described the incident as a serious overreach by the Palestinian security forces, which endangered the Israeli civilian’s life and involved severe and aggressive use of force against him.
