Opposition Leader Yair Lapid following his security briefing with Netanyahu:

“Security threats are something that must be handled professionally and responsibly. Israel’s security and IDF bases are not props for campaign videos.

Without going into details, the IDF, Shin Bet, and police are prepared for the elections, and there is no reason to cause public panic.

The IDF Chief of Staff has raised 10 red flags regarding troop shortages and burnout in the military. If Netanyahu is so concerned about the security situation, he should enlist the 15,000 Haredi men the IDF is short of.”
