*Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced his decision to appoint Shmuel Ben Ezra as Head of the National Security Council (NSC) and the Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser.*

Shmuel Ben Ezra brings with him over thirty years of experience in safeguarding the security of the State of Israel. He led the development project of the “Arrow 3” interceptor missile, which won the Israel Defense Prize. In his most recent position in the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), he served for four years as Head of the Technology for Operations and Cyber Division (equivalent to the rank of Major General).

Ben Ezra holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics (with highest distinction), a master’s degree in Applied Physics, a master’s degree in Business Administration (with highest distinction), and a master’s degree in Political Science specializing in National Security (with highest distinction). He is also a graduate of the National Defense College (with highest distinction). >
