Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has instructed officials to move forward with a reduction in the excise tax on fuel (gasoline). Professional discussions are currently underway at the Ministry of Finance to determine the size of the reduction and the precise mechanism for implementing it. The Finance Minister intends to sign the order as soon as possible so that the reduction can take effect within the coming days.
