The name of the fallen IDF soldier has been cleared for publication, and his family has been notified.
The fallen soldier:
- **Master Sergeant (Res.) Basil Sweid**, 32 years old, from Peki’in, a driver in the 75th Battalion of the “Sa’ar MeGolan” (7th) Brigade. He was killed during operational activity in southern Lebanon.
