1. Muhammad al-Najjar was killed — a “journalist” and Hamas military operative who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre (the strike in Khan Younis).
2. Ammar al-Sharafi, a platoon commander in Hamas’s military wing, was killed. The militant killed was the brother of Moamen al-Sharafi, a journalist for Al Jazeera — which underscores, as we have seen throughout the war, the close ties between Al Jazeera and Hamas’s military wing.
