America is bleeding internally - and too many people mistake the fact that it is still standing for proof that everything is fine.

That is how internal bleeding works. A person looks perfectly normal, even functions normally. Until he collapses.

The critical issue is election integrity. The failure to pass the SAVE Act should have set off alarm bells across the country. Elon Musk recognized the danger long ago.

The scale of the border crisis under Biden was staggering. By September 2024, more than 1.9 million people had crossed illegally and evaded apprehension entirely. Nearly TWO MILLION known “gotaways” - on top of the millions of encounters recorded by border authorities.

The consequences do not disappear when an administration leaves office. Communities change. Public services come under pressure. The country carries the consequences for generations.

Texas stands at the center of this battle. For years, it served as both a Republican stronghold and a frontline barrier against illegal immigration, even while the Biden administration fought its border enforcement efforts.

Anyone who assumes Texas will remain Republican forever is gambling with America’s future.

State after state can change political direction. And today’s Democratic Party bears little resemblance to the party of Bill Clinton and his predecessors. God help America with these “Democrats.”

When Democrats take a state like Texas, they also take its Electoral College votes. That would dramatically narrow the Republican path to the White House.

I believe the chances of seeing another Republican president in the White House are now significantly below 50 percent. And with every passing year, those chances shrink further as this cycle feeds on itself.

America is still on its feet.

But the bleeding continues.
