For some time, a deep burden has been growing in my heart.
As a Jewish believer in Jesus, I cannot remain silent when I hear Christians claim that God is finished with my people – that Israel failed, the church took its place, and the promises God made to us no longer mean what they plainly say.
I came to faith in Jesus without ever reading the New Testament. It was through the Hebrew Scriptures, particularly Isaiah, that I recognized my Messiah.
After presenting the overwhelming evidence from those Scriptures in The Israel Decree, I was told by some that it was not enough. They demanded proof from the New Testament – from the words of Jesus and the apostles themselves.
That challenge became deeply personal.
It sent me back to Scripture with questions that reach far beyond Israel: How should we understand the relationship between the two Testaments? What did Jesus and the apostles actually teach about my people? And what does Israel’s story reveal about the character of God?
One question, above all, stayed with me:
If God could cancel His promises to Israel because of our failures, what would that mean for your confidence in His promises to you?
That burden became my new book, God’s Irreplaceable People.
Building on The Israel Decree, this book invites you to examine passages you may have read many times – and consider questions you may never have asked.
Before you decide where you stand, I invite you to take that journey with me.
