I am often asked during Q&A sessions how it will be possible for America, Israel’s strongest and closest ally, not to be there during the Ezekiel war.

The answer is very simple: An attempted Marxist-Islamist hostile takeover of the country could bring about such internal turmoil, polarization, and division that isolationists would eventually take control of the administration under the banner of:

“Let’s take care of our own problems and stay out of everyone else’s.”

America would not necessarily have to disappear or cease to be a world power. It would simply have to become so consumed with its own internal crisis that it chooses to stay out of a war in the Middle East.
