IDF: Targeted raids, disposal of weapons, and elimination of terrorists: Operations conducted by the Givati Brigade combat team in the areas of Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Zawtar al-Gharbiyah

In recent days, soldiers from the Givati Brigade combat team launched an operation to establish IDF positions within the areas of Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Zawtar al-Gharbiyah, as part of the divisional effort to remove the direct threat to Israeli communities in the Galilee Panhandle and in Metula and to strengthen operational activity in southern Lebanon.

The soldiers have crossed the Litani River and are carrying out precise, targeted operations against terrorist infrastructure in the area, locating and disposing of weapons and eliminating terrorists operating there. So far, with support from the Israeli Air Force, more than 100 strikes have been conducted and approximately 20 terrorists have been eliminated, alongside the discovery of hundreds of weapons inside civilian homes in the area.
