Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Gaza:

“There is no lasting solution for Gaza without migration. According to repeated surveys, 80% of Gazans want to leave, but Hamas prevents them from doing so, and no country is currently willing to receive them.

“Israel is fully prepared to facilitate their departure – by sea, by air, or by any other possible route. Egypt is unwilling to cooperate, so it will not happen through Egyptian territory.

“The main obstacle is that every potential host country wants American backing. President Trump has not canceled the plan – he has frozen it following pressure from the Arab states.

“The moment will come. Once it becomes clear that Hamas is not honoring its commitments, Israel will receive the green light to advance militarily, territorially, and in other areas – and the migration initiative will gain momentum.”
