Mr. President, people have both the right—and the duty—to warn your team of businessmen when dealing with the Iranian regime, which has repeatedly proven adept at outsmarting negotiators and exploiting every loophole.

Do you truly believe that any commitment made by the Islamic Republic not to pursue nuclear weapons is serious? They made that commitment before, and yet here we are today.

What must be done is not merely securing promises on paper, but eliminating, on the ground, any possibility that they can obtain nuclear weapons. Because if they can, they will.

The regime has spent decades perfecting deception, delay, and manipulation. The lesson of history is simple: if they retain the capability, they will eventually use it.
