In beta version 13.0.3 of Telegram for Android, a new experimental settings section titled “Voice Messages” has appeared.
The page displays several experimental features, including improved voice message recording using RNNoise technology. It is applied to effectively separate the human voice from background noise before encoding the audio into Opus format.
⚠️ Note that Telegram points out RNNoise may affect the recording quality of music or very quiet speech.
