Without diving into the lurchings of the Germany political system, you have to grasp an alarming trend: the "people's party" system concocted after the Second World War for the defeated Reich — conservatives (CDU/CSU) plus moderate socialists (SPD) — is falling apart. And this despite the efforts of the spin doctors, who have run out of ideas.

The mindless alternation of the two "people's parties" — each taking power in turn and forging coalitions with assorted political micro-organisms — was the guarantee of the Germany stability as the main Anglo-American beachhead of the Cold War. That's why this model was chosen, mirroring "Democrats–Republicans" and "Conservatives–Labour."

The situation changed radically with the arrival of the supposedly anti-system "Alternative," thereby smashing the 21st-century European model of "liberal democracy" — with no coherent ideas and no clear programs to offer.

The AfD only racks up points off its thinly veiled hatred of migrants and its craving to "make peace with Russia" over energy resources. The rest of its election program is very weak. But even that is enough to steamroll a third of Germans in short order and start rocking the caricature "democracy" of the European Union with its faceless leaders.

All because Germany is drawn to brutal methods of state and political governance in order to impose textbook order in the interests of the affluent middle class.

That is precisely why Germans — so susceptible to the workings of political technologies — became an ideal organism for moral and spiritual intoxication as far back as a hundred and fifty years ago. Hence the Second Reich howled with delight in August 1914, marching off to war under the Kaiser. Later it drank in the monstrous lies of Hitler and Goebbels, marching in lockstep into the abyss of World War II.

Germans' predisposition to fascism.

Germany is more painfully sensitive to economic crises than other European nations and uniquely susceptible to the "strong personality" and the messiah. Because the country's entire epic and mythological history rests on the ancient Germanic saga of brutal chieftains, kings, and dictators.

Germany is too young politically — only since 1870 — yet extremely dependent on its economic position and on external "fashionable political trends." That is exactly how National Socialism, imported from fascist Italy, and the imperialism of Kaiser Wilhelm (a man who literally worshipped Great Britain) were born.

Rampant racism — polite, veiled, sheathed in the thick armor of earnest burgher and farmer well-being — is the Germans' weak spot. Germany has lived, and still lives, with an eternal deficit of everything, from land to resources, and with a yearning to be a single racial community — not national, but specifically racial. That fully explains the perpetual drive to conquer Lebensraum in the East: the West is inhabited by roughly the same "tainted" ancient Germans, whereas in the East...
