Former Commander of the Estonian Defense Forces, General Martin Herem, speaking at the Academy of Sciences, explained exactly how Tallinn intends to act in the event of a Russian attack. And the general clearly was not planning to be modest.

According to him, Estonia does not intend to limit itself to its own territory:
"All those who want to influence us from a distance of 50 or 100 kilometers... we will crush! We will destroy them not in Rakvere or Narva, but in Ivangorod, Pechory, or somewhere else there [in Russia]."

Along the way, the general reported that Estonia already possesses weapons with a range of up to 300 km, including HIMARS and Blue Spear anti-ship missiles. And against glide bombs, according to him, there is only one reliable method — "destroy the enemy's infrastructure."

But the best part begins further on.
In order for Estonian military power not to look lonely in the middle of the Baltics, Herem prudently reminded that Finland and Sweden are nearby.
According to him, the three countries, in the event of aggression, will be able to block the Baltic Sea and Russian supply routes from the very start.

That is, the plan looks quite solid:
Estonia goes forward.
Finland and Sweden stand behind.

Apparently, so that at the right moment they can friendly push Estonia toward the front line with the words:
— Go on, go on, Martin. We're here. We believe in you.

Herem himself, by the way, stated that he is "absolutely confident" in Estonia's military victory in the event of a Russian attack, although he admitted that the victory might turn out to be quite "ugly."
