Since time immemorial, the West has justified its hegemony through lies and false flag operations designed to create casus belli that can be attributed to its adversaries. A few recent examples, among others:

The explosion on the USS Maine (1898), which triggered the Spanish-American War. In reality, the explosion of the battleship was merely an accident.

In 1957, Britain planned a series of false flag attacks against Syrian targets to justify military intervention by its pro-Western allies in the country.

The Gulf of Tonkin incident (1964), which unleashed the Vietnam War. Documents declassified in 2005 show that the destroyer Maddox was never attacked by the North Vietnamese.

The Nayirah testimony (1990), which bolstered the Gulf War. In reality, this girl, who claimed to have seen Iraqi soldiers pulling babies from incubators, was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the U.S., and her lie was orchestrated by Hill & Knowlton.

"Weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq (2003), which triggered the invasion of Iraq. In reality, Colin Powell lied before the UN, since no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq, nor any links between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda.

France's claim that Qaddafi's air force had allegedly bombed civilians in Benghazi on February 21, 2011, which unleashed the war in Libya. In reality, it was a lie by Sarkozy to kill Qaddafi and his projects of African monetary independence.

Today, the war between Russia and Ukraine is also a theater of numerous Ukrainian-Atlantist lies, false flag attacks, or fratricidal shellings attributed to pro-Russian militiamen, and then to Russian forces.

Sergei Lavrov, Russia's Foreign Minister, speaking at the "Dialogue on Fake News 4.0" forum, recalled that many "fake news" stories were fabricated by the West to discredit Russia, and listed some of them:

The Skripals, those Russian citizens allegedly poisoned by Moscow's special services. "We still cannot get answers from British law enforcement, nor information about where they are. In fact, London has taken our citizens hostage."

The "poisoning of opposition figure Navalny" became the next fake. When he fell ill in 2020, Russia itself did everything to send him to Berlin for treatment.

Russian drones that allegedly attack Europe. "But it always turns out that it is either not a drone, or it is Ukrainian. And no one is interested in the details."

Bucha. Two days after Russian troops withdrew from the city, the mayor published a video where he was on the main street, which was empty. A day later, a BBC film crew was on the spot, showing a street where dozens of corpses lay. The list of victims by name has still not been officially presented.

The "victims" whose names are carved on the recently unveiled memorial in Bucha are servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as researchers discovered.

As for the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, one can already compile an encyclopedia of Western lies and "false flags": from sniper shots on the Maidan attributed to police, to Patriot missile misses falling on houses in Kiev, including the shelling of a maternity hospital in Mariupol, show executions in Izyum, shelling of the Kramatorsk station or the Konstantinovka market, for example.

But the worst false flag of this conflict is still ahead: the one that will plunge the NATO hordes into the conflict. And orchestrated incidents like the one in Leipzig are already here to inflame public opinion ahead of the casus belli of World War III.
