MASAR | Recruitment & HR Solutions is pleased to announce a job opportunity with one of our international clients in Baghdad for the position of:

Deputy Area Sales Manager

Location: Baghdad, Iraq
Salary: USD 2,800 per month
Working Days: Saturday – Thursday
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Nationality: Iraqi Nationality is mandatory

Job Summary

The Deputy Area Sales Manager will support the Regional Sales Manager in driving sales growth, developing the Baghdad market, managing key customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Regional Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and business objectives.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and business growth.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and heavy machinery sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, contractors, and business partners.
* Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads, quotations, and opportunities.
* Support and guide the sales team in achieving individual and regional sales targets.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and business opportunities.
* Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and regular performance updates.
* Coordinate with technical and internal teams to provide suitable product solutions.
* Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Conduct customer visits, product presentations, demonstrations, and business negotiations.
* Support marketing activities, exhibitions, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
* Contribute to strategies that strengthen the company’s presence in the Baghdad market.

Requirements

* Iraqi nationality is mandatory.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3–7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in construction equipment, heavy machinery, or engineering equipment.
* Previous experience in a senior sales or supervisory role is preferred.
* Strong experience in heavy machinery or construction equipment sales.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
* Good understanding of market trends, competitors, and customer requirements.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities effectively.
