⭐️ GRAM is now available to T-Bank users in Russia

⚫️ T-Bank, one of Russia’s largest banks, has started offering crypto trading through its new T-Crypto service.

⚫️ The flow is pretty straightforward: users can open a separate crypto account, fund it with RUB directly from their T-Bank balance, swap RUB for USDT, and then buy GRAM inside T-Terminal. One important detail: T-Crypto itself is not operated by T-Bank. The actual broker is Belarus-based Techbit Lab, while T-Bank handles KYC and acts as the fiat on-ramp.

⚫️ For now, the setup is fully custodial. Users don’t hold the keys, external withdrawals are not yet available, and balances are not covered by bank deposit insurance. The terms also explicitly mention counterparty risk tied to the broker and the banks handling client funds.

⚫️ Still, the distribution angle is pretty interesting. A regular customer of one of Russia’s largest banks can now go from RUB in a bank account to GRAM in just a few clicks with no P2P, no seperate CEX accounts, and no crypto-native onboarding required.

⚫️ That’s a surprisingly low-friction way for a TON ecosystem asset to reach mainstream retail.
