⌨️ What TON Connect login could look like

⚫️ Code found on a Telegram test server suggests that Login with Telegram could be tied directly into TON Connect. Judging by parameter names like ton:wallet, tc_client_id, and tc_manifest_url, users may be able to connect their TON wallet during the same login flow.

⚫️ That means a possible user flow after Gram Wallet launches could look something like this: say you open an app or website that supports Login with Telegram — a trading terminal, for example. Once you sign in with Telegram, you could immediately be prompted to connect your wallet as well.

⚫️ The difference may come down to just a couple of clicks, but it shows how deep the integration could go — and it would definitely make the experience smoother. It’s good to see that, despite the missed deadline, Telegram appears to be building the wallet as a proper product rather than just ticking a box. You can already see that in smaller details found in the beta, like being able to send GRAM simply by tapping a TON address.

⚫️ There is one catch, though: the TON Connect changes stayed live on the test server for just 17 minutes before being completely rolled back. So maybe this feature won’t make it into the final release after all. Or maybe it will. Only Durov knows.
