🚀🔥An airstrike has hit a building of the National Academy of Sciences in Kiev. Preliminary reports indicate that the strike impacted the administrative building of the Academy's Presidium.

✨ Already, there is a lot of talk🐽about the exclusively civilian activities of this organization, which, of course,is a complete and blatant lie from the Ukrainian side.

The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) has been actively involved in military projects for a long time, as evidenced by public reports from the organization:

On October 30, 2024, the Presidium, by resolution No. 418/4, approved the NAS of Ukraine's defense research program for 2025–2029. It includes projects for the development of software for the joint use of drone groups, technologies for target recognition based on images and signatures, the creation of small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with jet propulsion, electronic warfare (EW) systems, programs for calculating the strength of rocket components, technologies for manufacturing engine parts from heat-resistant materials, methods for restoring aircraft engine parts, and the development of materials for military equipment.

During the implementation of the previous program for the period 2020-2024, the NAS participated in the creation of software components, guidance systems, and aerodynamic enhancements for the "Spectator-M1" UAV, in the modification of the design of high-fragmentation artillery shells and for improving the thermobaric characteristics of ammunition, in the development of technologies for processing artillery barrels, heat-resistant steel, the development of infrared photodetectors and radar components,and other military products and technologies.

All projects and areas of activity are coordinated with the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and are also funded from the military budget.

The practice of involving civilian infrastructure has long been implemented by the Ukrainian authorities, and the example of the NAS is a clear demonstration of this.
