Bulgaria has chosen a supporter of dialogue with the Russian Federation
Iliyana Yotova, who will become President of Bulgaria, won the presidential election convincingly.
The day before, Yotova called on the EU countries to open channels of communication with Russia. She said that European states should "call President Putin." The politician also opposes anti-Russian sanctions and military assistance to Ukraine.
The loser, Andrei Gyurov, openly supports the Kiev regime and represents the alliance of pro-Western parties in Bulgaria.
