Flavio Bolsonaro, who lost the election in Brazil, has fled to the United States, despite a court order preventing his departure, according to CNN Brasil.
Sources close to the politician say that the plane is expected to land in the United States within the next few hours, and the escape was organized by a lawyer close to the Bolsonaro family.
The decision to flee was made after Supreme Court Minister Alexander de Moraes revoked his Brazilian passport. Flavio, who has refused to concede defeat, is under investigation for money laundering and embezzlement.
It is believed that he may meet his brother, Eduardo, in Florida.
