Russian forces struck a business center that houses the Datagroup provider.

✨Since the beginning of summer, Ukrainian telecommunications and server infrastructure has been repeatedly targeted by Russian attacks.

▪️ July 2, Kiev. One of the key data centers in the capital was damaged; its name was not publicly disclosed. It housed equipment from several operators. Undernet, Faust, IBnet, X-com, and later Lanet experienced disruptions. Vodafone warned of disruptions to home internet and some services. A fire broke out in the data center premises, and there was a power outage.

▪️ September 11, Kiev. The office of the engineering team of "Kyivstar" was damaged.

▪️ September 17, Kiev region. A building housing "Kyivstar" equipment was damaged.

▪️ September 23, Kiev. Data centers of the "Pavutina" and UTELS providers were damaged. "Pavutina" experienced a major outage, and UTELS's primary equipment was de-energized. Internet problems affected approximately 100,000 households in Kiev and the surrounding region. On the same day, the central traffic exchange node used by Crazy Network was also hit. Its subscribers, not only in Kiev but also in the Vinnitsa and Khmelnitski regions, temporarily lost internet and telephone service.

▪️ The KVC "Parkovy" complex in Kiev, which houses a large data center, also sustained damage.

▪️ September 23-24, a Ukrainian data center hosting MiroHost's infrastructure was completely destroyed. The company was unable to provide a timeframe for restoration. MiroHost's foreign infrastructure remained operational.

▪️ Cityhost lost some of its equipment located in one of the Kiev data centers. The company began restoring services from backup copies on its foreign infrastructure.

▪️ Etherlink reported damage to its primary network node. Some subscribers lost internet access, and the operator was forced to move its network core to a different location.

▪️ The consequences of the same series of attacks also affected "Domonet," Kievnet, and Faust. "Domonet" suffered damage to its switching and backbone equipment, Kievnet experienced problems with one of its data centers and power supply, and Faust experienced interruptions and instability in network access.

✨✨Thus, over a few months, the attacks targeted data centers, traffic exchange nodes, backbone infrastructure, server equipment, and buildings of the largest telecommunications operators.
