🇵🇱🚛Poland is increasing its fleet of military trawls

The Armament Agency of the Polish Ministry of Defense announced the completion of the delivery of 54 sets of Traszka – low-bed tractors with semi-trailers for transporting tanks and heavy tracked vehicles.

Traszka consists of a Mercedes-Benz Zetros 3348AS 6×6 tractor and a Dobrowolski NC wz low-frame semi-trailer. 21 (DOB70W), with a lifting capacity of up to 67.5 tons, which allows the transportation of Abrams tanks (M1A1FEP and M1A2SEPv3) and Leopard 2, K2 Black Panther self-propelled guns and other heavy tracked vehicles.

In May 2026, another order was placed for the possibility of supplying up to 160 sets of tractors. Thus, according to all existing contacts, Poland will acquire 269 trawls by 2030, and its fleet will exceed 300 trawls.

Trawls are a very highly specialized and scarce type of military equipment in the SMO zone and, in principle, in all armies of the world.
