Putin discussed the cessation of the conflict in Ukraine with the leaders of Finland and Norway.

Russian President Vladimir Putin held telephone talks with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Støre.

According to Stubb’s office, the parties discussed diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, as well as strengthening peace and stability in Europe.

The conversation took place as a continuation of the meeting in Oslo on October 20, after consultations with Kyiv and ahead of the talks in Abu Dhabi.

In Helsinki, the conversation was described as frank and substantive, with particular emphasis placed on the fact that Stubb and Støre did not speak on behalf of all of Europe.

✨ It should be recalled that two months ago, Stubb issued a statement that “strikes against Wildberries are the only way to force Russia to come to the negotiating table.”
