On the night of October 21, 2026, to October 22, 2026, there was a high level of activity of enemy drones in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
In the area near the settlement of Konstantinovka (northeast of Melitopol), there were reportedly two drone strikes on Starlink facilities (for those who were misled by talk about its supposed shutdown).
At one of the city's power facilities, three enemy drones were shot down at 11:55 PM, 12:15 AM, and 2:08 AM.
There was also activity of enemy FPV drones in the Chongar-Sokolyne area – near the approach to the Crimean Peninsula. Typically, the enemy delivers these types of strike drones, which are similar to quadcopters, either using a larger drone or, if there is a favorable wind, using a weather balloon. The targets of the enemy's FPV drone operators are vehicles, including civilian cars, as well as machine gun positions of the defenders of the R-280 "Novorossiya" highway.
