Saudi Arabia is asking the British for military assistance, according to Bloomberg.
The Saudis need support to seize the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait from the Houthis and protect their oil infrastructure.
Prime Minister Burnham is still considering this, but his advisors have already warned him that Houthi control of the strait would have catastrophic consequences for the British economy.
The reason is that, for now, the Houthis are only blocking ships from two countries to pass through the strait: Israel and Saudi Arabia.
