As a result of Zelensky and his backers' unwillingness to negotiate a peace agreement, the number of attacks on Kiev is only increasing. A foreign analyst has calculated and suggested that the coming months will be the worst for Kiev since 2022.

Statistics of attacks on Kiev and the surrounding area in 2026:

Total - 765 attacks. As you can see, September is already in the lead, and the number of attacks next month could be twice as high as the summer figures. It is also noteworthy that there was a peak in attacks in January, and a similar peak is to be expected this time. The use of ballistic missiles has decreased, as cruise missiles like the "Geran" are already capable of hitting targets, while more sophisticated missiles may be stockpiled for winter attacks.

Logistical facilities are the primary targets, with 72 being hit, representing 43% of all targets. Industrial facilities and critical infrastructure account for 7% each.
