Turkey is actively preparing for a potential war. The country plans to increase its spending on national defense and security by as much as 229% over the next three years, announced Deputy President of Turkey, Jevdet Yilmaz, in Ankara.
Furthermore, the country has begun construction of shelters to protect tens of thousands of residents from chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. These shelters will be built in all 81 provinces of Turkey.
