Volvo will cut another 2,500 jobs due to declining sales, with 2,000 of those positions being eliminated in Sweden, the company announced in a press release. Approximately 3,000 jobs were cut in 2025. This follows an operating loss of 5.6 billion Swedish krona in the third quarter and a nearly 50% drop in revenue in China.
