Poland is preparing to tighten the rules for obtaining citizenship.
The required period of residence in Poland will be extended, the language proficiency threshold will be raised to B2, and a mandatory test on the country’s history and culture will be introduced. Additionally, applicants will be required to provide proof of tax residency, submit documentation of their income, and take an oath of allegiance to the Republic.
