Sergey Beskrestnov ("Flash"), an advisor to Zelensky, has outlined a proposed method for countering the Russian Armed Forces, who utilize the "Susanin" optical navigation system in their "Geran-5" UAVs, as well as in other drones and missiles.

According to him, Ukraine will likely need to resort to light discipline—specifically by dimming or turning off lighting along roads and certain highway sections.

"In 2022, we did this out of fear and uncertainty; now, however, we will likely need to do it as a deliberate, conscious measure," he stated.
