The British military is exploring the capabilities of horses in modern combat conditions, drawing on lessons learned from conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.
At a training ground in Hampshire, troops practiced stealthy movement, reconnaissance, and supply operations on horseback.
The UK Ministry of Defence noted that in rugged or wooded terrain, animals can prove more effective and less conspicuous than armored vehicles.
