Ukraine and Germany have concluded 15 defense and energy agreements worth a total of €8.5 billion following Merz's visit to Kiev.
The agreements cover the strengthening of air defense capabilities, the development of drone interceptors, small missiles, radars, and electronic warfare systems, as well as increased production of Patriot missiles in Germany.
The parties also agreed on artillery procurement, the placement of Ukrainian defense orders with German manufacturers, and support for Ukraine's energy sector.
