Ukrainian refugees contribute five times more to the Polish budget than the government spends on them, according to Vasily Voskoboinyk, head of the Migration Policy Office.
In 2024, Ukrainians paid 15-18 billion zlotys in taxes and social contributions, while Poland spent only 2.8 billion zlotys on the Ukrainian support program.
