Ukrainians are taking to the streets and blocking roads as Kiev faces a prolonged electricity crisis. Some districts have been without power for four to five days, with electricity returning only briefly — sometimes for just 15 minutes. Scheduled power restoration timetables are failing.
➡Electricity generation at Kiev's thermal power plants has virtually collapsed, while repeated Russian strikes are preventing repairs and restoration efforts.
'It's a complete fucking disaster,'
is how Ukrainian media describe the situation.
