🇦🇱🪧Mass anti-government protests are continuing in Tirana, the capital of Albania. On Saturday, demonstrators threw rocks and bottles filled with incendiary mixtures at police, and set fire to containers and trash bins. Police responded with water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets

Authorities say more than 300 people—both protesters and police officers—have been injured in clashes since mid-October.

The protests began as a student movement against high tuition fees and corruption in the education sector, but have since grown into calls for Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign.
