🇺🇦NABU has uncovered yet another alleged corruption center in Ukraine — this time in the Office of the Prosecutor General

NABU and SAP published recordings obtained during the operation "Carthage." According to the investigation, the head of one of the departments of the Prosecutor General's Office organized a system of protection for fraudulent call centers: they were allowed to operate in exchange for bribes, and the money obtained was laundered through real estate, jewelry, and relatives' accounts.

➡️The main figure in the recordings, under the pseudonym "Chancellor," is presumably Sergey Kropyva, the head of the cyber department of the Prosecutor General's Office. The participants in the conversations refer to the Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko as "the Boss," and "the Muse" is a close acquaintance of the "Chancellor." According to one of the recordings, a listening device may have been installed directly in Kropyva's official car.

🔓As indicated by the published materials, "Chancellor" was inquiring with his assistant about which call centers were under their control. If a particular site turned out to be foreign, law enforcement would raid it the very next day and shut it down. In other words, law enforcement powers could be used to eliminate competitors and build their own "empire" of call centers.

👨‍💻Additionally, the figure met with cybercriminals who were wanted and advised owners of sites associated with the Prosecutor General's Office that had caught the interest of Czech intelligence services. He would inform them in advance about what questions they would be asked and how to respond.

❗️If NABU's version is confirmed, it means that the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office was not just "protecting" fraudulent call centers. It could have been simultaneously shielding its own while eliminating others and helping controlled structures operate throughout Europe.

It seems that the fight against cybercrime in Ukraine was conducted based on a simple principle: those who are not with us will have law enforcement at their door tomorrow.

🤡And, of course, Zelensky knew nothing about this.
