🇵🇾🏦Paraguayan President Santiago Peña has resigned following the collapse of Ueno Bank, where the accounts of around 3 million customers have been frozen

Earlier, the country’s central bank placed Ueno Bank under external administration, after which all accounts at the bank were frozen. The opposition submitted an impeachment motion against Peña to parliament over his alleged ties to the bank.
