🇩🇪The German defense company Rheinmetall has received a contract from Ukraine for the supply of artillery shells and propellant charges worth tens of millions of euros, the company announced on Tuesday.

😝The contract value will be reflected in the financial statements for the second quarter of 2026, and its completion is planned for the first quarter of 2027.

🇪🇸The company stated that production for this order has already begun in Spain.

Rheinmetall, one of the largest manufacturers of large-caliber ammunition, is ramping up production capacity and expanding its presence in new segments of the defense industry amid rising military expenditures by NATO countries.
