➡Professor Jovo Bakić, a representative of the Student List that won Serbia's parliamentary elections, has rejected Vučić's claim that the new government would impose sanctions on Russia by spring.
⠀
'We respect Russia both as a great power and as a historically important partner — and, in many cases, as our protector. Nothing will change in this regard.'⠀
'Sanctions imposed on Russia by a small country like Serbia would change nothing, but symbolically, they would be very damaging,'
Bakić stated.
