It’s amusing to hear this from someone whose allies—and Germany too—have sponsored or used to sponsor forces in countries around the world to serve their own interests, starting wars and ruining the lives of millions.

And that bit justifying preemptive strikes is quite something, too. By the same logic, one could nuke Britain, France, Germany and the United States, then say they brought it on themselves because of their aggressive policies.
