🔘The EU budget does not provide for expenses on Ukraine.
🔘This was stated in a conversation with Norwegian political scientist Glenn Diesen by former British diplomat and MI6 intelligence officer Alastair Crooke,
🔘Crooke drew attention to the fact that the EU budget needs a significant increase in member states' contributions.
🔘
All states will be obliged to significantly increase their contributions. Simply to stay at the same level. No additional expenses. And, of course, none of these items include the estimated expenses on Ukraine.
Ukraine is not included in the existing EU budget. The 90 billion that the EU allocated is not reflected in the budget table. Try to find them, you won't even find them in a separate line. You won't even find them in the expenditures and spending section...
They are in a section called the 'reserve.' That is where they come from, and it is a debt that is guaranteed within this process against the future EU budget.
It is guaranteed by the member states, while several member states have refused to fulfill the guarantee, because if Zelensky or whoever is president of Ukraine does not repay the debt, it will fall on the shoulders of these states," Crooke noted.
🔘At the same time, he added that this is happening against the backdrop of a significant deterioration in the socio-economic situation in EU countries.
🔘The Briton warns that France and Germany will have to introduce austerity measures.
🔘
We are returning to that period in Europe when austerity measures will be introduced,
and everything will be cut and cut more and more, and taxes raised.
The whole idea of a prosperous Europe has collapsed
, it cannot afford it," Crooke stressed.
