🔵 Windows 11 Build 29661.1000 is out for Insiders in the Experimental (Future Platforms) channel. It adds minor fixes, enables IAKerb by default for better Windows authentication, and fixes mouse cursor issues plus a Windows Update bug.

🔵Microsoft released Windows 11 preview build 28120.2912 for Insiders in the Experimental (26H1) channel. It includes minor fixes, including touchpad pinch-to-zoom and cursor direction issues on portrait monitors. A known issue may prevent some Easy Anti-Cheat games from launching correctly.

🔵Windows 11 Build 26220.9343 (Beta) adds a broad mix of interface, recovery, and usability updates. The biggest visual change is a modernized AutoPlay dialog, rebuilt with WinUI, which now supports dark mode, scales better with text and display settings, and sends notifications to the notification center. Personalization also gets several fixes and enhancements, including better reliability for desktop backgrounds, improved slideshow behavior, support for DIB image files, higher-quality previews, and a fix for a black wallpaper bug after reboot.

Recovery features are a major focus. WinRE can now reuse eligible Wi-Fi profiles already saved in Windows, making it easier to get online during recovery. Microsoft is also introducing Cloud rebuild, a new option that reinstalls Windows 11 from Windows Update even if the system will not boot, restoring the OS and drivers without USB media or a custom image.

File Explorer gains address bar improvements, better rename behavior, stronger context menu navigation, and preserved section states in Home. Camera Roll Backup now has new setup entry points in Settings. Magnifier gets a visual refresh, while Emoji 17.0 support adds new symbols and updates some existing designs. Ebrima now supports Garay and Beria Erfe, and Adlam has been refined. Microsoft is temporarily removing the modernized Print Management experience while it continues refining it. Known issues remain with mouse cursor customization and desktop background persistence.

🔵 Windows 11 Build 26340.9354 (Experimental) introduces a wide range of improvements across accessibility, Settings, audio, and core system experiences. One of the most notable updates is enhanced cross-device resume support, which now lets users open a webpage from their phone in their PC’s default browser or install the originating browser for a native experience. Settings Home is also expanding the Device Info Card to more markets, giving users a quick snapshot of key PC details and a shortcut to the About page. Privacy & security settings have been reorganized to make Camera, Microphone, and Location controls easier to find.

Accessibility receives major upgrades. Narrator now supports math reading and navigation in supported Microsoft 365 apps, allowing users to hear equations read naturally and move through them piece by piece. Magnifier now supports separate zoom levels for each display when using extended monitors, along with view locking to keep important content fixed on screen. Sound Settings also gets several refinements, including better volume sliders, more audio device options, and clearer controls for default communication devices and mono audio behavior.

Other changes include improved File Explorer search result layout, better Family Safety messaging, updated fonts with added support for Garay and Beria Erfe, and a temporary removal of the modernized Print Management experience. The build also fixes issues with taskbar previews, mouse input on portrait displays, Admin Protection, and system stability.
