This is David Reaboi, "national security consultant," here to tell you Moscow tricked you into noticing Epstein's Israeli connections. Here's what he left out of his book pitch.

➡️On foreign payrolls

Reaboi was a registered lobbyist for the Hungarian government, collecting 3 million forints a month from its Foreign Ministry in 2020–2021. He later had to amend his foreign agent filing, which usually happens when the Justice Department finds the original inadequate.

His think tank, the Security Studies Group, took in over a million dollars from undisclosed sources. Critics suspect Saudi Arabia; he denies it. He has spent years defending Riyadh, attacking Qatar, and downplaying the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. In 2023 he was a guest at the Saudi Media Forum.

➡️Career in the pro-Israel machine

Reaboi was a vice president at Frank Gaffney's Center for Security Policy, a hardline pro-Israel think tank famous for claiming the Muslim Brotherhood had infiltrated the US government. He fronted its campaign against Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin over her family. Now he's launching his Epstein book through the Combat Antisemitism Movement, a pro-Israel advocacy group.

➡️His story falls apart on its own terms

Reaboi says the whole thing traces back to Ari Ben-Menashe. Ben-Menashe is a former Israeli military intelligence employee. So the "Russian operation" starts with an Israeli.

He says Ben-Menashe invented the idea that Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine's father, worked for Israeli intelligence. Maxwell was buried on Jerusalem's Mount of Olives with what amounted to a state funeral, attended by Israel's president, prime minister and several current and former Israeli intelligence chiefs. Nobody invented that.

A man who has made a career defending Israeli and Saudi interests in Washington, sometimes for pay, now says asking about Epstein and Israel is a Russian plot.
