🇵🇱 Masked man with a knife, gas pistol and fake police-style badge caught at Poland's Constitutional Court protest

On Saturday morning, as crowds kept up their protest outside the court for a second day, one of the organizers spotted a man in the crowd with his face hidden behind a balaclava. When she asked him to show his face, he punched her and ran.

Protesters chased him down, grabbed him and dragged him out of the crowd. Footage shows older demonstrators holding him by the arms before he broke free and fled to a police vehicle, where officers took him in.

Police called it "a dangerous incident at the gathering site." No charges have been announced, and authorities haven't said who he is or why he was there.

Protesters are convinced he was a provocateur, sent to start a fight and give the government an excuse to crack down on the demonstration.

Online accounts, including opposition figures, claim to have identified him as a private security contractor who presents himself as a former special forces and counterintelligence operator, with social media posts supporting Ukraine.
