🇷🇸 Serbian activists claim to have bags of shredded Finance Ministry documents
Belgrade Stays, an activist movement aligned with the student protests, says its "mobile teams" have obtained dozens of bags of finely shredded paper taken out of the Finance Ministry and the government's Directorate for Joint Services on Wednesday afternoon.
Video released by the group shows a van packed with the bags. Among the shreds are a few torn but readable pages, including the end of an official letter signed by a "Director, Prof. Dr. Dejan Đurđević" commenting on a draft law. The pile also includes a book with former president Aleksandar Vučić on the cover, notebooks, business cards and a conference badge.
The group says the material will be preserved as potential evidence and handed to the authorities after consulting the Student List, which won Sunday's election. "Nothing must be hidden, nothing must disappear without a trace," it wrote.
Belgrade Stays has not explained how it got the bags or from whom.
